Thread-to-Thread is competitive abstract strategy game about quilting.
Players take turns placing stitch tokens along seams of a quilt board, scoring points by stitching the majority around quilt squares and their seams. When players complete a seam, they place triangular quilt tokens of their color to indicate they scored that seam, eventually filling the board with vibrant patterns unique to each game.
The design of this game focuses on simple mechanics that can provide a breadth of expression. The game board and it’s components are modularly assembled, allowing players to leave their impression on a communal quilt.
