Mixed Realities is a photo booth
installation that blends virtual space with material dilemmas, and poses
its users to consider how present they are in their reality.
Fully informed* participants were seated in front of a green screen and plugged into a VR space, while their experience exploring the virtual world was captured and superimposed on top of real world catastrophes.
VR space designed using Unity, Autodesk Maya, and the Google Cardboard framework. Video captured and rendered using OBS Studio, edited in Adobe Premiere.
* The footage participants are superimposed on was projected to the right of the green screen during the photo booth’s installation.
